Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of plants
  • Implement and manage a comprehensive plant care program.
  • Monitor and manage pest control measures.
  • Analyze soil conditions and recommend appropriate amendments.
  • Ensure proper drainage and irrigation systems.
  • Propagate plants through various methods such as seeding, cutting, and grafting.
  • Maintain accurate records of propagation activities.
  • Coordinate the availability of plants for landscaping projects.
  • Work closely with other departments such as Services and maintenance, Retail, Operations.
  • Provide horticultural expertise and advice to other teams as needed.
  • Serve as a resource for horticultural information within the organization.
  • Source and procure materials within budgetary constraints.
  • Monitor expenses and provide regular updates to management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • Mini Experience of 3 years as a Horticulturist.
  • Strong knowledge of Indoor and ornamental plants.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in computer applications related to horticulture.
