About the opportunity:

As an Assistant Manager – Human Resource (AM-HR) at Ugaoo, in shaping our organizational culture and ensuring that our employees thrive. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, policy formulation, performance management, employer branding, employee relations. We are looking for someone who is passionate about building strong, high-performing teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience for all employees
  • Assist in implementing performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions
  • Act as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to employees and managers
  • Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Assist in policy formulation and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on organizational behaviour and change management initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive HR projects and initiatives forward

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 3-4 years of progressive experience in HR, with a preference for startup or high-growth environments
  • Strong understanding of recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, performance management, employee relations, employee engagement, policy formulation
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion
